Muk Business Center is an innovative company from the Democratic Republic of Congo in the south Kivu province at Uvira town, that produces natural fertilizer composts from bio-waste with the bio-intensive agricultural system.

We manage waste for a clean planet and produce improved stoves to save the forest, capable of reducing the use of embers and charcoal by up to 97%.

MBC also works in collaboration with the local Ministry of Environment and MWM (Friends of the Nature), FreeJoy and Nabahya Food Institute. The Board of Directors and the Control Committee supervise the Coordination team, responsible for administration and finances. The team executes, monitors and evaluates the company’s activities. Our objectives are to contribute to education, charity towards orphans, the vulnerable, the elderly and to the improvement of soils, the protection and conservation of forest ecosystems. We transform barren areas into community forests that restore animal habitats, increase rainfall and biodiversity. MBC is renowned for providing the bio-intensive system: deep soil preparation, soil protection and composting of natural fertilizers and manufacturing of improved stoves, we market food crops and compost.
40% of income goes directly to helping with food, school fees and education for undernourished children. Some other food crops from our fields are prepared to give to orphans and vulnerable children.
